PictureThe author photographs the entrance to the tunnel at the Western Gate of the Citadel. The entrance, now sealed up for unknown reasons, is visible in the sun-glass lens reflection. The importance of the white stone block is discussed in both the article and book.
Philip E. Dayvault graduated from UNC-CH and resides in his home state of North Carolina. His past professional experiences include laboratory and investigative services with the US government, as well as sales, investment brokerage, management and security management consulting with various international companies. He is a former Special Agent and Physical Science Technician with the US FBI and has fully utilized the learned forensic and investigative skills, coupled with the Scientific and Historical Methods, in this work. Phil has studied the Shroud of Turin since 1973, and later served as the director of a local Shroud organization. In 2000, he began independent investigations into various aspects of the Shroud, Related Relics and Sacred Art. The ISA Tile was discovered by Phil in 2002 totally through and by the Grace of God. Numerous other “new, unique, historical and never-before-seen” discoveries have also been made, and the Keramion is but one of them! He continues independent investigative research and writing on the Shroud - stay tuned!
